Plain Thosai: 5/5
Shattering crispy and savoury.
Ghee Thosai: 5/5
Shattering crispy, savoury and buttery from the added ghee.
Raghi Thosai: 5/5
The thosai itself soft on one side and crispy on the other. The peanuts were toasty and sweet. The added coriander gave a very refreshing taste.
Sambar: 5/5
Very flavourful, hearty, sweet and tasty.
Chutney: 5/5
Orange chutney was slightly tangy and spicy. White chutney was savoury, coconuty and refreshing.
Total score: 15/15
Add-ons: Ginger Tea ($3.56) was also smooth, tasty and gingery.
The service was also amazing as I added each thosai separately so that I can savour each of them at their best and the restaurant had no issues with me ordering another thosai after I finished one. One of the service staff also made sure I know that there was sugar on the table that I could add to my ginger tea and I really appreciated him going the extra mile.
The place is air conditioned and brightly lit and there was Indian music playing in the background feeding into the overall atmosphere.
Will definitely recommend my friends if they want to have amazing thosai in Singapore!
Authentic South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant. Good food but a bit pricey. Big serving. Long queus during weekends. Good customer service.
Definitely the best south indian outlet in Singapore now. I really liked everything. Will definitely go again (already went several times). Quick service, tasty food, friendly staff. We love this place.
Possibly one of the best dosai places in Singapore! This little gem offered masala dosai that were crispy and the dough was well fermented and tangy. The masala potatoes were tender and flavorful.
It was the first time I tried panakarkandu milk. It was absolutely delicious as well! It was a warm, spiced vanilla flavored drink that went down so well as a chaser after the dosai.
The kuthiravali dosai used barnyard millet, which a different take for me. Sprinkled with like nuts, it felt like a more health-conscious alternative, but also still tasty.
Price-wise, the place is a bit pricier than other places offering similar fare. Two masala dosais, a kuthiravali dosai, a ginger tea and a panakarkandu milk cost $30, but considering the quality, it was well justified.
I wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional dining experience. The ambiance was captivating, the service was exemplary, and the flavors were a gastronomic delight. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience.
This is one of the best vegetarian restaurant among others in the town. The hospitality is great and ambiance is excellent for anyone to keep going back again to this restaurant.
Food is awesomely tasteful and signatory dishes are Virudhunagar Parotta, Podi Idly, Mini sambar idly, Ghee roast, Parotta, etc, the service is super fast at anytime and I wish them all the best for the new year 2023.
This place has become our regular place vegetarian food.
I had the chance to dine-in for 4 days at the restaurant. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was awesome and the taste was consistently good at all times. Thanks to the owner and staffs for their hospitality and amicable gestures. Wonderful ambience and perfectly located diagonally opposite to Mustafa centre. I would love to post the food pictures but missed to click them. I suggest this restaurant from the tastily filled stomach 😁
Went there little early at their opening time 8.30 . But they opened at 9 am and by that time I went to a nearby shop and had noodles as I was so hungry.
Didn't want to miss eating here too ;) so ordered a vadai and ginger tea.
Vadai was so crispy and tasty . I have never seen a vadai so good in SG before. The sambar and chutneys were good too. Especially sambar was so good. Ginger tea was good.
